Jacob Lin

I am a second-year CS PhD student at the University of Oxford, supervised by Ronald Clark and funded by EPSRC. My research interests broadly lie in Computer Vision, specifically in 3D Foundation Models and Physics-Guided Vision Models. I am particularly interested in applications to AR/VR and AI for Science.

I have previously worked as a research assistant at Imperial College London, where I also did my undergraduate degree. Prior to my studies in the UK, I was born and raised in Malmö, Sweden.

Research

I am currently working on improving the 3D awareness of Vision Foundation Models. My previous research has focused on using 3D computer vision and machine learning for atmospheric sciences, specifically with a focus on clouds.
